| Welcome Spring |
I picked out a star the evening O'Henry crossed. Each night I step out on the porch to say goodnight to him. I still can't do it without tears. Of course sometimes the stars are not visible but I know "he is always there" just as I never had to turn around, I just knew he was right behind me. This piece has been on the edge of my mind for a long time now. I am missing him a little bit more these past few days. |
